Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive (B2B Sales) with 2–3 years of experience in generating leads, building client relationships, and supporting business expansion within the eCommerce outsourcing and IT services domain.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator and strategic thinker who can identify prospects, initiate conversations, and nurture leads through the sales pipeline. You’ll be responsible for executing outreach campaigns, qualifying potential clients, presenting company solutions, and working closely with senior management to close deals and achieve growth targets.
This role requires a mix of sales intelligence, relationship management, and consultative selling — ideal for professionals looking to grow into a managerial role in business development.
Key Responsibilities
(A) Lead Generation & Prospecting
1. Identify and research potential B2B clients through LinkedIn, databases, directories, and outbound campaigns.
2. Generate qualified leads for eCommerce outsourcing, data management, and IT automation services.
3. Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and Crunchbase for targeted outreach and prospect qualification.
4. Execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, cold calling) to initiate conversations with key decision-makers.
5. Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects aligned with company revenue goals.
6. Update and manage leads, conversations, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
(B) Sales Process & Pipeline Management
1. Qualify leads through discovery calls and detailed understanding of client needs and challenges.
2. Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to prepare customized proposals and presentations.
3. Schedule and conduct product/service demos to demonstrate value propositions.
4. Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and service capabilities.
5. Manage the sales pipeline proactively — tracking every stage from lead to closure.
6. Support in negotiations, contract preparation, and follow-up communication.
(C) Market Research & Targeting
1. Conduct research on potential industries, geographies, and business verticals suitable for expansion.
2. Identify competitive trends and suggest improvements in outreach strategies.
3. Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to improve messaging, pricing, and service offerings.
4. Participate in the development of sales scripts, outreach templates, and email automation campaigns.
5. Regularly analyze performance data to optimize outreach efficiency and conversion rates.
(D) Client Engagement & Relationship Building
1. Build rapport with new prospects to establish trust and long-term engagement potential.
2. Understand client business models to offer relevant outsourcing or IT solutions.
3. Support in onboarding new clients and ensuring a smooth handover to the Client Success or Operations team.
4. Maintain periodic contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
5. Represent the company professionally in client meetings, demos, and networking events.
(E) Reporting & Collaboration
1. Maintain accurate CRM data including contacts, deal stages, and activity logs.
2. Provide weekly and monthly reports on lead generation, conversions, and outreach metrics.
3. Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation funnels and campaign strategies.
4. Work with leadership to define performance goals, lead targets, and revenue forecasts.
5. Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve sales scripts, automation workflows, and outreach templates.
Qualifications & Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation roles.
• Experience in eCommerce outsourcing, IT services, SaaS, or data-driven businesses is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Pipedrive) and lead tracking.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn outreach, cold email campaigns, and sales automation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional client interactions.
