Code Of Conduct
ALL PARTICIPANTS ENGAGING WITH DATA SPECTORS, BOTH ONLINE AND AT IN-PERSON EVENTS HOSTED OR AFFILIATED WITH DATA SPECTORS ARE EXPECTED TO ADHERE THIS CODE OF CONDUCT
THE PLEDGE
We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. To that end, we pledge to make participation in our community and projects a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristics.
THE STANDARDS
The following behaviors foster a positive and professional environment:
Using inclusive, respectful language
Valuing diverse perspectives and experiences
Accepting constructive criticism with grace
Respecting individuals' preferred pronouns and using gender-neutral language when in doubt
Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to:
Trolling, making insulting or derogatory comments, and engaging in public or private harassment
Sharing someone’s private information (e.g., physical or electronic addresses) without explicit consent
Disregarding personal communication boundaries (e.g., ‘leave me alone,’ ‘stop,’ or ‘I’m not discussing this with you’)
Displaying content that is offensive or knowingly disturbing to others
Engaging in political arguments or discussions that lead to conflict
Promoting or assuming inequality, including but not limited to age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, nationality, race, personal appearance, religion, or sexual orientation
Any behavior that can reasonably be deemed inappropriate in a professional setting
ENFORCEMENT
Violations of this Code of Conduct may be reported via email to info@dataspectors.com. All reports will be thoroughly reviewed and investigated. Appropriate actions will be taken based on the circumstances of each case. Additional enforcement policies or procedures may be outlined separately.
We reserve the right to remove comments or contributions that violate this Code of Conduct. Additionally, we may temporarily or permanently ban participants whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
