Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist with 3+ years of expertise managing stock flow, order fulfillment, and inventory synchronization across multi-channel eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate excels in data accuracy, forecasting, and process efficiency, ensuring seamless order management, reduced stockouts, and maximum operational profitability.
This role demands deep familiarity with inventory tracking systems, third-party warehouse integrations, and marketplace dashboards (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.). The candidate will serve as the operational link between sales, warehouse, procurement, and finance teams — ensuring every SKU is accounted for, accurately priced, and perfectly aligned with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
A) Inventory Planning & Control
1. Manage day-to-day stock movement across marketplaces and warehouses.
2. Maintain real-time inventory visibility across Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, and internal ERPs.
3. Forecast demand based on sales velocity, seasonality, and market trends.
4. Define reorder points, safety stock levels, and initiate timely replenishment.
5. Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation with physical warehouse data.
(B) Multi-Channel Synchronization
1. Ensure accurate inventory mapping across multiple channels to prevent overselling or underselling.
2. Collaborate with catalog and operations teams to update product availability, pricing, and stock statuses.
3. Integrate inventory management tools (Unicommerce, Browntape, Zoho Inventory, EasyEcom, etc.).
(C) Reporting, Analysis & Optimization
1. Generate daily/weekly reports on stock status, turnover ratios, and replenishment cycles.
2. Identify slow-moving or non-performing SKUs and recommend liquidation or promotional strategies.
3. Collaborate with procurement teams for vendor performance analysis.
4. Improve forecasting accuracy and reduce holding costs through continuous process optimization.
(D) Coordination & Compliance
1. Coordinate with client and warehouse teams for inbound and outbound stock movements.
2. Ensure compliance with product listing, packaging, and labeling requirements.
3. Support return logistics, damaged goods reconciliation, and accurate reporting to finance.
Qualifications & Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in eCommerce inventory management, preferably in a multi-channel setup.
Skills & Competence
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP/Inventory management systems.
• Excellent analytical, forecasting, and numerical reasoning ability.
• Understanding of SKU lifecycle, demand forecasting, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with strong ownership and accountability.
• Detail-oriented mindset with process discipline and accuracy.
