Summary

We are looking for a proactive and business-savvy Marketplace Account Manager with 4+ years of experience managing client accounts and driving sales across major marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and Shopify. This role demands both analytical depth and consultative relationship management — ensuring client success through revenue growth, compliance, and operational excellence.

The Account Manager acts as the single point of contact between the client and internal operations teams, strategizing marketing campaigns, optimizing listings, resolving escalations, and ensuring smooth end-to-end execution.

Key Responsibilities

(A) Account Ownership & Client Management
1. Manage multiple client marketplace accounts with full responsibility for P&L performance.
2. Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
3. Prepare and present performance reports, insights, and growth recommendations.
4. Handle escalations, SLA adherence, and cross-department coordination.

(B) Marketplace Operations & Optimization
1. Ensure daily operations including listings, orders, returns, and promotions are executed flawlessly.
2. Manage advertising campaigns (PPC, Sponsored Products, Lightning Deals, etc.).
3. Track account health metrics — buy box %, return rate, performance index, etc.
4. Identify growth opportunities across categories and product lines.

(C) Data Analytics & Reporting
1. Conduct deep performance analysis to improve visibility, conversion, and ROI.
2. Manage competitor benchmarking and pricing intelligence.
3. Forecast sales, promotions, and inventory requirements.

(D) Strategic Consultation
1. Advise clients on campaign strategies, pricing models, and product positioning.
2. Coordinate internal creative, marketing, and operations teams to deliver value-added services.
3. Stay informed on policy changes and marketplace trends to guide clients strategically.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years managing marketplace operations or client portfolios in an eCommerce environment.

Skills & Competence

• Deep understanding of Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplace dashboards.
• Strong data interpretation and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical, result-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
• Familiarity with ad campaign management tools and A/B testing.
